Senior Development Officer, Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences

The NC Museum of Natural Sciences seeks an experienced individual to join the Development Team. The Senior Development Officer will be responsible for securing the financial resources necessary for the Museum to fulfill its mission and achieve its goals. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of fundraising techniques and a record of successfully closing major gifts.

Reporting to the Director of Development for Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, this is a permanent full-time position with the nonprofit Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences for 40 hours/week.

Discovery Room Specialist

The Discovery Room at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences is seeking an individual who is passionate about connecting families to nature to join our team! Position will facilitate visitors’ hands-on exploration and discovery while keeping the Discovery Room running smoothly.

The Museum values a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourages applicants of all backgrounds to apply for this position.

Location: North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Downtown Raleigh.

Work Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week between 10:00am and 5:00pm, Tuesdays through Sundays.

Pay: $18.00/ hour.

Retail Operations Associates

The Friends of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences is looking for part-time staff who can work 15–25 hours/week. Museum Operation hours are Tuesdays–Sundays 10:00am–5:00pm, some nights and Holidays.
